Biffy Clyro has postponed. Though there are no new dates yet, you can hold onto your tickets for yet to be announced rescheduled shows OR return to the point of purchase to request a refund.
A note from Team Biffy....
It is with great regret that we must announce the postponement of the band's shows in Australia and New Zealand, scheduled for around the new year.
Unfortunately, it is the case that both Simon and James require minor medical procedures, for conditions that whilst not yet serious, will become debilitating if not attended to. It has become apparent that the only window that these operations can take place, will in the same period that we were planning to perform in Australia and New Zealand.
We are planning to announce rescheduled dates in both Sydney and Melbourne very shortly, and are currently aiming to be back in Australia in early May, and hope to expand our tour beyond the original 4 shows.
We send our profuse apologies to everyone concerned, and will be back with information on the rescheduled shows very soon.

Scottish rockers BIFFY CLYRO are set to release their immensely anticipated fifth album in November this year and will return to Australia to perform at Pyramid Rock Festival and headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Famed for their intense powerhouse live shows, the trio have earned an army of rabidly devoted fans (Team Biffy)
Biffy Clyro, are one of the foremost and influential rock bands in the UK right now, with new single "That Golden Rule" the first Biffy Clyro release after the stand-alone single "Mountains", which became their biggest UK single chart success to date. "That Golden Rule" is a distinctively heavy and angular rock race of a song, with stunning unexpected time changes, huge riffs and a gigantic chorus making it sure to be one of the most exciting singles to be released this year.
The forthcoming album was recorded in LA, once again with Puzzle's producer Garth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers), and mixed by Andy Wallace (Coldplay, Nirvana, Faith No More) and is set to be a vital and monumental record.
Biffy Clyro have experienced a phenomenal couple of years since the release of the lauded Puzzle in June 2007, seeing them become one of the most celebrated live bands. They have they toured across the world and clocked up high-profile support slots with the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Queens of The Stone Age, Linkin Park and a colossal Wembley Stadium show with Muse.
The new album "Only Revolutions" will be released through Warner Music on November 13, 2009.
"They combine physical force with a cerebral dimension" - The Times
"Their songs pack a punch, but are full of light, shade and sophistication" - The Guardian
