Glen Boss to ride back in Australia

Champion jockey Glen Boss is set to return to Australia to continue his riding career after a lengthy stint in Singapore.

Boss returned over the Autumn Carnival in Sydney where he rode Brutal to win the Group One Doncaster Milewhich has prompted the Melbourne Cupwinning jockey to return home to continue riding.

“I’m really excited to be really honest,”

“I’ve been toying with the decision for a little while, but once I made the decision, I felt like I’m really locked in. I’ve still got the energy, I’ve still got the drive, I’ve still got the passion to ride, it’s always been there and probably even stronger now.

“I’m fit as I’ve probably ever been in my life, physically and mentally I’m still well, I still think I’ve got a lot to offer.

“There’s one itch I’ve got left to scratch – I’d really love to win the Caulfield Cup, then I can say I’ve won the four. That would sit pretty good with me.” Boss told Sky Sports Radio.

Boss made the move overseas to ride after he felt he was not receiving the quality of rides he deserved.
